unless you disconnect the motor from the electrical system, had a report that one started one on fire, towing a scooter behind a car, turned the motor into a generator pumping a lot of current into the system, causing melt down and fire!

  • Keep inflatable tires properly inflated for better "gas" mileage.

  • Top Tips - Scooter Won't Go

Stored the Scooter all Winter, now it won't charge!

If the batteries are left connected to the Scooter System and not charged during the storage time, they are possibly dead. The Scooter's electrical system is being energized even though your key is off, this will drain the Batteries.

Rodents love to chew wiring, check your connections.

Make sure you have power to the outlet, plug a working light into the outlet to test it.

If the charger was plugged in all winter, the charger may have suffered an electrical surge, and fried it. A UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) will protect the Charger from surges, (Sam's Club has them by the computers).

Take it out of FREE-WHEEL!

The lever located on the back of your scooter, make sure the lever is in the drive position.

Turn the key and nothing works!

Take it out of Freewheel, Make sure all cable plugs are pushed in and the charger is unplugged from the unit. Check Battery connections.

Turn the key and only the horn works!

The Horn and lights are on a different circuit than the forward or reverse circuit. Check Tiller cables for damage. Is there a flashing light on the Tiller or the controller in the back ?

If there is a flashing light, count the flashes for the flash code and check manual.

Charged it for 2 days and still will not go!

Are the Batteries cables loose?

Check the 110v outlet that the charger plugs into (plug a lamp in to test the outlet)

If the batteries get to low (around 16v both Bats) the charger won't work!

Is the charger cord plugged into Scooter?

Try a trickle charger on each disconnected battery for an hour (disconnect the trickle charger) then plug the batteries back into the scooter system to use the scooter charger to charge the rest of the way.

I drive it for about a block and it dies!

One or both of the Batteries are failing, check air pressure in the tires, Brake hanging up.

I drive it for a little bit and battery gauge goes down fast, something smells hot!

Sounds like a brake prob., Call Tech
